Here you can create an entirely new product to add to the All Products area. You might need to do this so that the product can be added to a Buy List, Catalog, or used in a Custom Requisition. {{Current_Org_Unit}} will be set as the owner of any product you create here.
Product Category and Sub-Category
The product Category is required, you must assign a Category and Sub-Category to the product you are creating.
Brand
Provide a Brand for the product if applicable, the Brand is optional.
Product Name
Provide a name for the product using this field, a name is required.
Purchaser Code
The Purchaser Product Code is optional and does not need to be unique, although we recommend that it is kept unique. This is the code that users at your organisation use to identify this product when creating a Purchase Requisition.
Unit Size
The size of 1 unit of this item e.g. a 375ml Can, or a 1kg Bag. If the product is a simple single item only with no applicable unit size, you can leave this section unchanged. Good product definitions are very important so please read our detailed
product creation guide to see examples of common product definitions.

Sell Pack and Sell Quantity
The sell pack and sell pack quantity describes what will be received when an order for 1 of these items is placed. For example "Carton of 24", for a Carton of 24 x 375ml Cans. If the product is sold as a single unit only, you can leave this section unchanged. Please read our detailed
